Founder John Bailiss has close to 20 years' experience from multiple award-winning practices, across all building sectors and materials, including basement design, working with listed and heritage buildings and construction on challenging sites, including over tunnels.

John is passionate about building a sustainable future for the industry and sits on the IStructE's Structural Futures Committee.

The company is founded on the ethos of providing suitable, intelligent and pragmatic support to projects, through the design of new structures and details, as well as the investigation, assessment and proof of existing buildings and elements. Proving that what we already have is suitable and functional is key to reducing our use of new materials, carbon, time and money.

The company employs a core team to service projects and works with satellite partners and specialists to deliver the quality and support each unique project needs.
